Through God’s leading and the blessing of fellowship, the Mission of the Capitol View Church family is To Touch People Within Reach with the Distinctive, Christ-centered, Seventh-day Adventist Message of Hope and Wholeness.
VISION:
The Vision of our church is what our MISSION “looks like”. It’s what is actually seen as this Mission is being carried out here at Capitol View, ever-evolving under God’s tender leading. We refer to this Vision as “MINISTRIES.
CAPITOL VIEW CHURCH MINISTRIES:
It is our focused and prayerful intention that all activities reflect our Mission. In order to specialize this focus, the following Ministries are examples of instruments in this endeavor …
- Weekly Sabbath Bible Study and Worship Service experience
- Children’s Ministry (Beginner – Junior) Sabbath School, VBS, Bible Classes, etc.
- Earliteen and Youth Ministry – Sabbath School, Outings, Special Programming, etc.
- Women’s Ministry – Events for all ages (together or segmented by interests or age groups, etc.) Bible Study groups, Seminars, social and outreach events, Support for special needs, etc.
- Personal and Public Evangelism – Crusade events, Group Bible study series’, Follow-up series, etc.
