About the Capitol View 7th-day Adventist Church
Our church is a warm and welcoming spiritual community where people of all walks of life are welcome. Our services and other events are full of vibrant music, where sound Biblical preaching is featured and members and guests are always inspired with God's presence. Many appreciate the beautiful, classic architecture of our church which was built over 100 years ago and still includes all the original stained glass. Our congregation has a rich history reaching back to the mid-20th century. We are all united by the love of Jesus Christ and the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Seventh-day Adventists Beliefs are meant to permeate your whole life. Growing out of scriptures that paint a compelling portrait of God, you are invited to explore, experience, and know the One who desires to make us whole.
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as the only source of our beliefs. We consider our movement to be the result of the Protestant conviction Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the only standard of faith and practice for Christians.
Currently, Adventists hold 28 fundamental beliefs that can be organized into six categories—the doctrines of God, man, salvation, the church, the Christian life and last day events. In each teaching, God is the architect, who in wisdom, grace and infinite love, is restoring a relationship with humanity that will last for eternity.
